As you can see, I'm a student in my early 20's. I am currently attending Southwestern Illinois College knocking out my 100-200 level courses. I have not decided where to finish my two bachelors degrees. I plan on getting a Jurisdoctorate and practicing civil/constitutional law. I follow politics religiously. For the past several years I've been a small-business owner. I ran an Internet Service Provider focusing on Web Hosting solutions from 1999-2003. I was also the lead developer and programmer for a large internet-based affiliate marketing company for a couple of years. Before that, I worked for several fortune 500 companies in the St. Louis, Missouri area as a computer technician.

I find that I dislike both of the popular political parties equally. If I had to choose between two evils, I would say NO!!!! Don't Make me!!! Seriously though, I'm probably best described as a social liberal and a fiscal conservative. I dislike government intrusion on personal liberties almost as much as I dislike large social programs designed to redistribute wealth from the people who work hard to the "less fortunate." I'm not a heartless bastard, well, sometimes I am... I just don't think its the government's job to provide things for people like health care and a retirement fund. I think people need a hand up, not a hand out when it comes to welfare. I don't think the current system works, and I find it insulting that they take my money for it. Statistics say that only 27 cents of every dollar actually makes it to the individual who needs help. Then you have to ask your self how many of those individuals actually need that help? Anyhow, I'm starting to rant and this is just an "About me" page. You'll find lots of my opinions in the Writing Area. This whole site is really an "About Me" site. It's all about the things that I do, and the things that I believe.
